1. Introduction
SportsVerified, LLC ("SportsVerified," "we," "us," or "our") is an Illinois limited liability company that provides verified business calling and messaging services exclusively for sports organizations, athletic departments, professional teams, conferences, and related institutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information in connection with our platform and services, including Verified Calling (powered by BCID™ through TIP Solutions, Inc.) and Verified Texting (powered by Veratext through TIP Solutions, Inc.).
By accessing our website at GetSportsVerified.com, submitting a contact or registration form, entering into a service agreement with us, or receiving a message sent through our platform, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
2. Who This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to two distinct categories:
- Client Organizations — businesses, athletic departments, professional teams, conferences, and sports institutions that contract with SportsVerified to use our platform.
- End Users — individuals (including fans, student athletes, recruits, donors, and other contacts) who receive calls or messages sent through the SportsVerified platform by a client organization.
SportsVerified is primarily a business-to-business platform. Client organizations are responsible for their own legal compliance, including obtaining required consents under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state laws, when communicating with their end users.

5. How We Share Information
SportsVerified does not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Platform providers: TIP Solutions, Inc. (BCID™ branded calling and Veratext messaging), Voxtelesys (RCS messaging aggregator), and downstream carriers (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T) receive sender identity information necessary to register and deliver verified communications.
- Google: RCS Business Messaging registration requires submission of sender identity, logo, privacy policy URL, and terms of service URL to Google for verification.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or asset sale, information may be transferred to a successor entity subject to the same privacy protections.
6. Business Messaging — RCS, SMS, and Branded Calling
SportsVerified operates as an authorized reseller and platform intermediary for business communications. Client organizations are the senders of all calls and messages delivered through our platform. SportsVerified provides technical infrastructure and carrier registration services on their behalf. SportsVerified does not initiate outbound messages to end users on its own behalf through the platform.
End users who receive calls or messages from a client organization using the SportsVerified platform are subject to the privacy practices of that client organization. SportsVerified maintains delivery and opt-out records on behalf of client organizations as part of our platform services.
7. Opt-In and Opt-Out
- Opt-In: Client organizations are solely responsible for obtaining valid prior express written consent from end users before sending marketing or promotional messages, as required by TCPA and applicable state laws.
- Opt-Out: End users may opt out of receiving messages from a client organization by replying STOP to any message. No further messages will be sent from that sender to that number upon receipt of a STOP request.
- HELP: End users may reply HELP to any message to receive contact information for the sending organization.
- SportsVerified honors all opt-out signals processed at the carrier level.
8. Data Retention
- Client account information: retained for the duration of the service relationship plus three (3) years, or as required by applicable law.
- Opt-out records: retained indefinitely to prevent future unwanted contact.
- Delivery and engagement data: retained for the service relationship period plus one (1) year.
- Website inquiry data: retained for two (2) years.
9. Security
SportsVerified implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including access controls, encrypted data transmission, and vendor security requirements. No security system is impenetrable; we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected individuals and regulatory authorities as required by applicable law.
10. State Privacy Rights
Residents of California and certain other states may have additional rights regarding their personal information, including the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. SportsVerified does not sell personal information. To exercise applicable rights, contact us at info@getsportsverified.com.
